Castelmerlino was founded in 1976, taking its name from an old farm near Mantua where the company's facilities still stand today.

The business was born from a need from 1970s campers: a wooden platform for caravan awnings. Larch was chosen from day one for its resistance to humidity. Folding tables, benches, chairs and stools soon followed, distributed across Italy.

Care for the environment led Castelmerlino into eco-sustainable manufacturing. In 2009 we earned PEFC Chain of Custody certification and launched a dedicated eco-sustainable product line.

Today the entire range of bathroom aids carries the TÜV GS mark for proven safety, and our sanitary products bear the CE Medical Device marking.
